Allen Carr’s “Easy Way to Control Alcohol”
Ever find yourself reaching for a glass and opening a bottle of wine to relax…?
Or perhaps the thought of flying (yes, me to) makes you head straight for the G&T?
This is a review devoid of judgement, being born and brought up in Shetland, I wouldn’t have a leg to stand on as they say!
I read this book cover to cover last spring and as instructed by Carr, kept drinking to the bitter sweet end… It’s a challenge to finish reading for many people – probably because they’re afraid it might work!
Funny that isn’t it? We are afraid we won’t want alcohol or can’t have it anymore…
Have you ever thought about spinach or milk that way? If you had a sudden allergy and could no longer drink milk would you break into a cold sweat before flying?
Here is my challenge to you. Read this book cover to cover… If you then decide you don’t (as of course you don’t) have a problem with alcohol then just forget it, and crack open a bottle with a happy sigh.
If on the other hand, something Carr says strikes a chord with you…
Ask yourself this; what’s the impact on my mind and body of this behaviour, now and for the long haul of my life?
